Kerf, referring to the width of a saw cut, is a stylized graphic interpretation of a bird. This small ornamental piece is handcrafted from ash wood, which is then sliced down the centre with a 3mm-wide saw blade. The material removed during this process is replaced with a 3mm thick aluminium profile, ensuring that the pieces maintain their rounded shape.
