Defined by two simple elements, the structure begins and ends with the corner junction. What now appears to me as obvious and inevitable originated from an extensive search for a connection detail that could adapt and be configured to resolve multiple points meeting without altering the core elements. Rather than concealing the joins, this unique detail becomes the graphic embodiment of the design itself. 

A dramatic contrast between positive and negative form was central to the design intent, balancing visual weight with openness and void. The thin, almost fragile side profile contrasts the heavy extruded mass behind. The repetition of the junction detail creates a strong graphic rhythm that defines the character of the design.
