A diamond, being of pure ‘carbon’, was the inspiration behind this chair. An allusion of grandeur is formed as the inside triangular seating planes are taken from the physical appearance of a cut diamond. The design further draws from various connotations evoked by diamonds, including; royalty, power, wealth, grace, and mystery.
